OPENING HOURS
Our current hours are Monday-Saturday 11-6 and Sunday 11-5.

We will have reduced hours on the following days during the 2025 holiday season...

Wednesday, November 26 -- 11-3

Thursday, November 27 -- CLOSED (Thanksgiving)

Wednesday, December 24 -- 11-3 (Christmas Eve)

Thursday, December 25 -- CLOSED (Christmas Day)

Wednesday, December 31 -- 11-3 (New Year's Eve)

Thursday, January 1 -- CLOSED

We will be opened regular hours all other days.

Our shop is easily accessible using the CTA 22 bus or the CTA Red Line. If using the 22 bus, exit at Berwyn and walk east toward Glenwood Avenue -- we are located between Big City Optical and Iloilo Custom Framing. Look for the Paper & Pencil sidewalk signs. If taking the Red Line, exit at Berwyn and walk west six blocks toward Clark Street. 

Ample street parking is available around the shop. Parking on Clark Street and neighboring side streets up to the alley requires payment via phone or the available pay boxes. Parking within the residential areas of the neighborhood is free and does not require a permit. 

We are happy to exchange your item for a different item or store credit within 7 days of purchase. Your returned item must be unopened & unused. Proof of purchase is required. The following items are FINAL SALE & may not be returned: sale or discounted items; dated products such as planners & calendars; seasonal products such as greeting cards, gift wrap, & gift bags; bottled ink; fountain pens and nibs that have been inked; mystery/blind bags/boxes.

We have established regular gifting partners in the city and are currently unable to accept additional requests.
